How Do I Create An Umbrella Company?

I have two unrelated small businesses and have ideas for other businesses that I would like to start. The problem is that I have to have separate accounting systems for each and have separate business plans for each and fill out separate tax forms for each. Is there a way of having something like an umbrella company where I can combine some of these things to make life easier? If so, where do I learn more about it?
