Independant Contractor Was Told To Make Quarterly Tax Deposits But I Dont Know What Or Why?
i have been an independant contractor for 3 yrs and this year my CPA told me i need to make quarterly tax deposits… i am not sure what it is? how much to give? why i have to give it? why didnt i have to for the past 3 yrs? im sooo confused and have no idea what the heck i need to do… do i have to give quarterly deposits or can i just pay at the end of the year? any help would be great.. really lost here
Independant Contractor Tax Question?
i work as an independant contractor at a medical clinic; they take nothing out of my check. i make $360 dollars a week (or $1440 a month); ive worked here for about four months now and am wondering whether or not i need to file taxes yet? ive been putting money aside so itll be there when i do (pay taxes). how much do you think ill be taxed when my marital status is single, and i have no dependents?
